CALIPER

Linking Research and Innovation for Gender Equality#

The CALIPER project supported seven Research Performing and two Research Funding Organisations in nine countries across Europe, which were at an initial stage of gender equality improvement, to develop Gender Equality Plans (GEPs) and engaged local Innovation Hubs to transfer the knowledge gained beyond academia.

The CALIPER project’s goal was to make research organisations more gender equal by increasing the number of female researchers in STEM, improving their career prospects, and integrating a gender dimension in research.

Academia Europaea Cardiff Knowledge Hub joined the Horizon 2020-funded CALIPER project as part of a consortium of organisations that aimed to address gender equality within research and innovation in Europe. The Cardiff Hub led communications across Europe and encouraged wider engagement with the project, producing digital content and organising events.
