Artificial intelligence (AI) is currently impacting science, business, technology, and culture. This workshop will examine AI's connections with specific important fields of science and technology, including computer science, software engineering, the modelling of complex engineering systems, medicine and health, brain science, and cybersecurity. It will identify both potential advances, and obstacles such as the trustworthiness of AI and its massive energy consumption.
