‘Social and State-of-the-Art Medicine: Defining the way forward’#

The Barcelona Knowledge Hub celebrates its inaugural event by commemorating the 750th anniversary of the Barcelona Disputatio, and organising its own, modern day Disputatio.

Philosopher Thomas Pogge and neuroscientist Mara Dierssen will present two perspectives on this topic.

Video with the highlights of the Barcelona Disputatio 2013#

A 7 minute video of the Barcelona Disputatio held last November between Thomas Pogge, president of the Health Impact Fund, and Mara Dierssen, group leader at the Centre for Genomic Regulation, is now available online.

The video is intended to reflect the structure of the event as well as the atmosphere of the Saló de Cent, where it took place and presents the highlights of the Barcelona Disputatio 2013.
