Reuter MAE has published an article in CADMUS titled ‘The COVID-19 Pandemic as a Systemic Stress Test: Who is most vulnerable to food insecurity and other risks in a crisis and why?’ The article finds that policy designed to lower inequality is the best preparation for any crisis, and should accompany all measures for disaster risk reduction and impact mitigation. Desheng Wu MAE in collaboration with David L Olson wrote the book ‘Pandemic risk management in operations and finance’ – modelling the Impact of COVID-19. The book provides a review of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic and its impact on finance and supply chain operations.
Alik Ismail-Zadeh MAE has written opinion pieces on risk management of the COVID-19 pandemic for the International Science Council (read more) and the online daily news journal published by the Geophysical Centre of the Russian Academy of Sciences. Read more [in Russian].
