Is augmented reality becoming an interesting tool for archeology?#

Over the last 2-3 years more and more attempts have been made to use "augmented reality" to show people what an archeological site or object would have looked like at the time when it was in use.

Basically, it seems that this is one of the ways how Informatics and Archeology are discovering more and more points of collaboration.
